ESM Grid Distances Web-Service

The ESM Grid Distances Web-Service allows the calculation of various distance metrics in the points of a grid with a spacing of 500 meters. The grid spans the entire Italian territory and can be clipped with a square or circular buffer around a point, which can be the epicenter of an event stored in the ESM database or a given nucleation point. The clipping can be done starting from a specific number of kilometers from the reference point or by considering the length of the fault multiplied by a factor according to the ESM Fault Geometry Web-Service.

A complete list of supported options and usage examples is available in the query-options webpage.
